I'm not terribly impressed with the Fekkai Glosing Starter Kit. The shampoo, conditioner and cream do leave my hair feeling very soft and touchable. The styling cream is heavy and using too much leaves the hair looking unwashed and greasy. But, if used sparingly, it's fine. I'm not seeing any difference in the glossiness of my hair. It did turn my subtle salon highlights into a shockingly bright blonde - but I don't think that counts.
The short - I'm getting married and my fiancé wants to have "long and thick hair" (her words) for the big day so she started growing it out. But all she did was complain that her hair grows slow so Mr. Fix It here started researching and on the recommendation of a hair stylist friend decided to pick up this "stuff" - that's what I called it. So she started taking it and after about 6 weeks she noticed it growing a lot faster. Yup, I FIXED IT! (sort of) But that wasn't all. She even admitted that her skin looks more amazing and her nails are longer and stronger - which is more credit than I ever get for anything.
It's a great product, but both bottle caps came open in shipping. Most items like this have a peel-off top sealed to the bottle to prevent this from happening.
I have used this product for several years and truly love it. No alcohol, no offensive taste, no burning - AND - it works! My only question is why is this product so expensive on Amazon? I now buy it at Walmart for $7.97 per bottle. The toothpaste is the same price. I hope Amazon negotiates a better price - I would rather support Amazon than Wallie World.
My dermatologist (well-known, top doc in the US, treat many celebs, teaches at Harvard) told me to buy the 5% - that the "don't use if you are woman" warning is just plain nonsense.
I just received the Chromebook today and the fan is much, much louder than I anticipated and is high pitched. I can easily hear the fan every time a new tab is opened, and it almost seems to be running continuously. I don't think I'm being overly picky or unreasonable. I've had the same Macbook since 2008 and don't expect the fan to be completely silent, but so many reviews said you could barely hear the fan and that certainly is not the case with the Chromebook I received.
