  • P. D'Ambola - Best grass seed I have ever used

    Purchased 25lb bag last August 2013 with the intention of seeding a rather difficult area of approximately 6,000sq.ft. This area had been a staging platform for logging trucks, we had a clear cut done about six years ago, we had unsuccessfully tried planting numerous other grass seeds, all to no avail.

  • Rose - TERRIBLE-Not enough base coat

    My husband and I wanted to give our kitchen a little face lift, so we bought the Rustoleum countertop and cabinet transformation kits. The cabinets turned out really great, and that is something I would highly recommend. However, THE COUNTERS WERE JUST AWFUL!! We did our research, watched the DVD at least a dozen times, read through the instructions so many times that we had them memorized, and followed the instructions every step of the way. As we applied the adhesive we realized it didn't look like we had enough to cover the whole service area. One kit claims to cover an area of 50 sq. ft. and we have only 38 sq. ft. of counter surface. We still continued and put the chips down and let that dry. Everything was looking good until we sanded it down. It looked just TERRIBLE! We did little touch ups where we could and let that continue to dry. After we had put the top coat on it looked EVEN WORSE! You could still see sections of our old counter below and the counters looked nothing like what they should have. Any colorful speckels that were in them disappeared and it was a jet black surface. Even just to touch them feels disgusting (it's been over a week now and they are completely dry and still feel disgusting). The counters look so disgusting that I don't even want to be in my kitchen anymore. Because of this we had to go to the store and spend several thousand dollars on brand new counter tops. We wrote an e-mail to rustoleum and explained our situation. They did issue a refund, so at least we did not lose any money on this project; just our time. I will say that this product may have been better if enough adhesive was provided. But overall, we were very dissatisfied with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

    Despite the reviews from amateur's who bought this thinking it was some miracle pill that would automatically make them lose fat, this is actually a very great product.
