I feel like a loved friend has returned to me! I have read (and reread!) the Aurora Teagarden mysteries so many times, the characters feel like old friends. And I'm so happy to have Roe and Robin back sluething! When I first pulled the book out of the Amazon package, I was a bit disappointed to see what a small book it was - but then, the series has always been shorter books. The plus side to that, is that the story is all action (nothing makes me bored more quickly than an author who devotes several pages to describing the setting - at some point I don't care about the texture of the curtains or the plushness of the carpets - just get on with it! But I guess they have to do something to get those books so long!). The writing is well done, the plot is very good. I thought Aurora was a little slow in figuring out "whodunnit" but that slowness was in many ways consistent with everything going on in her life - those early days of pregnancy with public vomiting and feeling so tired and foggy were right on the money. I also appreciated how the book captured the horror of bullying gone amuck and the hell that parenting without boundaries being set for kids can lead to. I loved this book. And I think every fan of this series will love it as well. Please Ms Harris - bring us more - I need to hear how motherhood is going for Aurora!

I recently purchased the Excel 2010 Training Videos made by Kirt Kershaw in preparation for taking Microsoft Exam 77-882 to get MOS certified. The product was sent very quickly, and I was very excited to start. I opened up the package and started to play the DVD in my computer. It only took minutes to figure out that lots of the flash videos, WMV files, and PDFs would not open up and read as corrupt - much to my disappointment. I then got on Google and found the phone number and email address for Dream Force LLC. I contacted them about the problem, and the response was near immediate. Once they realized that I received a faulty disc, they told me that they would be sending another disc via next-day shipping. The customer service was outstanding. It is really no wonder that they have an A+ rating with the BBB.

I, too, was a hopeless case. Diagnosed with breast cancer to the liver almost two years ago. I was told I would live 6 month with no treatment and might extend my life two years with treatment but that the cancer would never go away. A friend suggested this book and it gave me hope. I looked for all the areas I could find hope and believe me anyone diagnosed with a terminal disease needs hope. I did not follow everything in the book but I was able to see that diet and the immune system was going to be an intergral part of my cure. I wouldn't say it holds all the answers, but I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with a diagnosis of cancer. She simply shared what she did and how she did it. I did it a little differently, but I have had two normal liver scans. I did do conventional therapy as well as natural therapy and diet, concentrating on building up the immune system. Just remember, your doctor does not have the last word on whether you survive - he makes a diagnosis but you do not have to accept his prognosis.

I rarely do reviews, but I've found myself telling friends and family about this sucker (get it?). I think one other review talked about how after running the vacuum the first time over a section of carpet done by their previous vacuum they were stunned... lemme tell you - that's EXACTLY how it went down. The crud this thing picked up on what was supposedly my clean carpet... just... wow.
