I've been taking 1 heaping tablespoon twice a day for almost 4 months. It helped clear up the eczema and psoriasis on my face. Also has rebooted my GI tract like you would not believe. I can can eat beans, broccoli and normally gassy foods without any bloatedness , gas and pain. The skin cleared up very quickly but it took a good 3 months for the the GI tract to straighten out. So that's the good news. I was expecting it to also lower my cholesterol and triglycerides but DE had no affect on my blood work. I was also hoping it would eliminate arthritic pain, but no such luck. Overall I am satisfied and I find it pretty easy to down the DE with a little water. The biggest help was with my skin and digestive tract, and I am very grateful for my improved health.

After using computerized machines exclusively for the past 8 years, switching to this mechanical model has taken some getting used to. I got the 4411, and I honestly regret not getting the next model up. For only 10-ish extra dollars you can have extra stitches and an auto needle threader. Otherwise thought it's been working out just fine! It's relatively quiet, and controlling the speed with the food pedal is pretty easy (but not as easy as a computerized machine obviously). I'm just hoping it's durability makes up for the sacrifice in features.

Very happy with the results so far. I've had a leak in my 15' by 30' by 8' deep in-ground pool for a couple years. It leaked about 2-3 inches per week and I had no idea were it leaked. I read many reviews and the directions closely and decide to alter the procedure a bit because I have 2 skimmers and 2 bottom drains and a pump that is a bit over powered for the pool. I removed the filter cartridges, all skimmer baskets and vacuum screens as well as the Polaris 380 vac debris bag. While keeping both skimmers and bottom drains open, I slowly poured one full bottle slowly down each skimmer (about a 1/4 bottle at a time very 10 minutes). I allowed the pump to run for about 2 1/2 days and ran the pool vac without the debris bag every 4 hours or so for about an hour to stir the product up from the bottom. I then let the pool rest for about 3 1/2 days. That was about a week ago. No leak! If anything goes screwy, I will attempt an update.

Tastes TERRIBLE. I can barely get it down. BUT, it actually does seem to curb my appetite. I have had to find creative ways to incorporate it…smoothies, etc and can still only get about half the recommended amount in because of taste.
