We bought this book to plan our upcoming trip to Italy. I guess I can write a final review after we have completed our trip. No guidebook is ever perfect, but in our experience, Rick is the man to read when you are planning Europe.

So far,I've been going through the first few chapters and been doing ok on the practice tests. I'm testing at the end of Sept, so I'll post more after that happens.

This product is amazing and wonderful! I have seen massive improvements since using this product along with ALL natural hair products. Stay away from the harsh chemical shampoos, they are no good for your hair at any age! Since I used this product and after many months (you have to give products like this TIME). My nails started growing like crazy, my hair is the longest it's been in 10 years. My nails are not weak or frail anymore either. I swear by this product and highly recommend. Please remember though, you must give this product time to work as your hair has a resting phase and a growing phase. So it's important to give it time to catch up. I am 45 and my hair looks like it did in my 20's. I have been taking this product now for at least 3 years, maybe 4 and it does not work overnight, but it DOES work! It's worth every penny and I notice a difference when I do not remember to take it.

Others are complaining at the mark up on the price. Honestly it isn't a terrible price if you look at what the deck is pre-selling for. Some of the pre-sale individual cards are over $40 such as True Name Nemesis. Good luck actually finding any of these decks at stores like Kmart or Target, since anyone who knows something about magic will see them and snag the whole collection at the stores for MSRP.

I so love this book I have no words. I listened to the audio edition and Mr. Prebble's reading is superb. This story is most of all about friendship among men thrown into the worst and most extreme conditions. They survived because of that friendship, their sense of humor despite it all and because of their incredible commander, Shackelton. The story is about human decency in the face of brutal nature. I loved the nature descriptions, I felt like I was there with them at sea, on ice, watching those Cape Horn Rollers. Alfred Lansing is a truly amazing storyteller.

This is one of the 10 best books I've ever read; among such treasures as "The Grapes of Wrath" and Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle". For these men to have survived the harshest conditions known to man is an inspiration to people everywhere that, where there is a will, there is a way. When I go through a bitter cold Wisconsin winter again, I will never look at it in the same way I did before. The agony, frustration and longing these men endured was truly more than most men are capable of overcoming. In an age of modern conveniences where not having cable is considered a hardship, this book brings back the tough spirit of men who tested every fiber of their being. This book should be mandatory reading for all school-age children so they know there is a world beyond PlayStation and all the other trappings of our sedentary society. The adversity these men faced is beyond my comprehension. Buy the book! You won't be sorry!
