My hairdresser recommended this shampoo to me several years ago, and I have continued to use it ever since. It leaves my hair soft and shiny, but does not strip out the permanent color like some other shampoos. It also helps to condition my scalp, which is a benefit that I really appreciate since chemotherapy and radiation left my skin and scalp dry and sometime scaly. And, the scent of this shampoo is a clean scent that is not overpowering. This is a great shampoo, at least for me and my type of hair and skin.

Let me start by saying, I have used this product before when purchased at another beauty specific retailer, and it worked great. For some reason, it did not have the same effect when purchased here. So it could be that the product was just an off bottle, or it could be that the reseller had a different version, or whatever the reason... I would not buy it here again, it didn't even smell completely like the original bottle I had. I will stick with authorized retailers for Deva Curl products.

One review (not on here) mentioned that their joint pain decreased greatly when they started drinking Zeal. I bought it for my mom and myself about 3 weeks ago Within 2 days, my mom noticed her Rheumatoid Arthritis pain decreased significantly. To be honest, she felt a difference in the same day. In addition, we both have experienced an increase in energy and decrease in appetite. Will continue to rule out coincidences or other. I gave it a 4 star because, though I've seen positive results recently, I've not determined that it's primarily a direct result of this drink but will continue to test it.
