I usually don't write reviews. However, in this case, I'm so despondent right at this very moment, I feel compelled to help prevent someone from spending a lot of money and regretting it. I've been using Finale for nearly 15 years. But as of right now, I'm so disappointed... I've just had Finale 2014 unexpectedly close and lose days worth of work, despite saving and closing ritually. Unfortunately, this is not the 1st time. Add to this problems with playback, Midi issues, and just an overall lack of compatibility with the new OS X upgrade, this is a bad mash of things. I would have stayed with the old OS X & Finale 2012 if I had known even a fraction of what would occur. Because I have Yosemite (the new OS X) on my Mac, I can't go back to Finale 2012 b/c it's not compatible. Bottom line: if it ain't broke don't fix it. If you've got a set up that's working STAY AWAY FROM FINALE 2014. I hate to have to say it. Going to consider Sibelius. Don't want to deal with the learning curve, but don't want to deal with this @#%& anymore.
So I've had the product for two weeks and I really like it. There's nothing really about them I don't like. The BIGGEST selling point is the fact that it has 8 hours of battery time!!! I purchased an inferior product twice, both of which had about 3 hours time...let's be honest, a lot of times recharging your headphones isn't always at the top of your mind...can't tell you how many times I tried to use the old pairs only to realize, they weren't recharged...these babies can go a whole week (I use at the gym mostly)! The recharge QUICK!
Purchased it to go with my electric motor. About 5 month ago. The box has started to corrode and all the contacts including the breakers are rusting and getting close to not being able to work. I have left the box in the boat in the marina. But would not expect it to corrode like this. Next time save the money and just buy a battery box as all the features of this box will not last a year. Very disapointed
